ZenFunds reviews direct deposits to Checking Accounts automatically. Our review system may return your direct deposit to the payer for any of the following reasons:
-
- Business name: If the deposit is a Small Business Administration (SBA) loan, or if the name on the deposit is a business name rather than that of the ZenFunds account holder, we return the deposit. ZenFunds Checking Accounts are for individuals and personal use only.
- Closed ZenFunds account: If your Checking Account is closed, we return.
- Name mismatch: If the name on your direct deposit doesn’t match the name associated with your ZenFunds Checking Account, we return the deposit.
- Reversed by payer: Deposits may be returned at the request of the payer or by the issuing bank.
What should I do if my direct deposit was returned?
Payers get returned deposits back within three business days. We recommend contacting your payer directly to verify the deposit details, or to arrange another method of payment.
